How do I start to take care of my brain function?

1)Oxygen- Your brain needs to breathe! How do you get oxygen to your brain? Through the blood. Even a slight anemia compromises brain function, make sure you have enough blood! Eat Oxygen rich foods! Exercise! Maintain healthy circulation!

2)Glucose- sugar (energy)- your body consumes 30% of your total body glucose. Blood sugar dysregulations such as low blood sugar or high blood sugar , stops your brain cells from getting enough fuel! Stabalize blood sugar and maintain your fasting glucose between 85 to 99

3)Stimulation- Your brain needs to make new connections between neurons, stimulation does this. Arouse all your senses. Taste different foods, smell different things(flowers, ocean, foods, essential oils), feast your eyes on art, nature, colors, and touch. Very importantly….. use your brain! Read, learn, and challenge your brain!!!
